DEFERMENT OF JULY PROPERTY TAXES:
Deferment of July (Summer) taxes are available to taxpayers if certain criteria are met. Applications for this deferment must be filed with the Township Treasurer’s Office no later than September 14 (if the 14" falls on a weekend, the next business day will be the due date). For ease of use, contact the Brockway Township Hall to receive a preprinted filled in application that would just require a signature.
JULY (SUMMER) PROPERTY TAX BILLS:
Summer tax bills are mailed July 1* and are DUE and payable July 1* with a grace period until September 14" (if the 14" falls on a weekend, the next business day will be the due date) to be paid without interest. Interest of 1% begins on September 15" and an additional 1% will be added on the first of every month. If the summer taxes remain unpaid at the end of February, they will be turned over as delinquent to the St. Clair County Treasurer. At this point additional penalties and interest will be assessed by the County Treasurer and are then ONLY PAYABLE TO THE ST. CLAIR COUNTY
TREASUER.
DECEMBER (WINTER) PROPERTY TAX BILLS:
Winter tax bills are mailed December 1* and are DUE and payable December 1* with a grace period until the end of February to be paid without interest. If the winter taxes remain unpaid at the end of February, they will be turned over as delinquent to the St. Clair County Treasurer. At this point, additional penalties and interest will be assessed by the County Treasurer and are then ONLY PAYABLE TO THE ST. CLAIR COUNTY TREASUER.

Payments can be made by the following means using cash or check only: In person at the Brockway Township office during our regular business hours. Mailed to either the Brockway Township Hall, 7645 Sayles Rd, Brockway, MI 48097 or Brockway Township Treasurer, 7759 Arendt Rd, Brockway, MI 48097. Tri-County Bank — YALE office only. Dropped in our locked mail box at the end of the driveway at the Township Hall. Partial payments are always welcomed and accepted.
